God will send Great Delusion to those that refuse to believe.
"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" 2 Thessalonians 2:11
"I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them, because when I called, none did answer, when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not." Isaiah 66:4
In recent times, we have had Mr. Brown write a novel called "The DaVinci Code" and we have Mr. Cameron producing a documentary about a set of bone boxes discovered 25 years ago in Jerusalem that are the bones of Jesus and his family. The archaeologist that discovered the boxes states that it is extremely unlikely that they are the bones of Jesus and the Bible certainly states that Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. The fictional account in the DaVinci Code cannot be used as evidence for Mr. Cameron's exaggerated claims and outlandish suppositions and vice versa. However, to the unsaved, these accounts and claims can be very convincing. So, I ask, Is this part of the great delusion that God has promised to send to those that refuse to believe ?
Why to people refuse to believe and why are fictional accounts of Jesus being married and having kids so attractive to our society ? We are currently excluding GOD from all public areas and our society freely discriminates against Christians. We, as a society, desperately want GOD to not exist, so that we can do whatever we want. Non-believers feel that GOD wants to deny them satisfaction and pleasure. However, nothing could be further from the truth. God defines sin for us and wants us to avoid it for our own good. With sin may come pleasure for a season, but the end result will always be grief and stress and conflict and strife and turmoil and confusion and aggravation and anxiety ...... Sin is promoted by the devil because the devil despises all of us and only wants us to bow and worship him in slavery. GOD loves us and wants the best for us and offers us peace, comfort, safety, serenity and Joy FOREVER. Don't think that being a Christian is a matter of self denial and sacrifice. It is not. It is about accepting Jesus Christ as your savior and walking in His way in order to have all the blessings that GOD has in store for us. Try it, you will find that the Christian way eliminates guilt, shame, anxiety, strife, stress, misery, defeat, and anything else that can rob you of the JOY that GOD has for you.
